Our editorial charter
Facts first. Context always.
A clear editorial distinction
Perspectives examine a subject in depth; The Briefing covers developments concisely; Company Dispatches presents attributed organisational statements. These formats serve different purposes and are labelled accordingly.
Sources and accuracy
Editorial work starts with identifiable sources. Names, figures, dates and quotations are checked against the available evidence. Estimates, opinions and company claims are attributed. Missing information is acknowledged rather than filled with assumptions.
Corrections and independence
A correction should make clear what changed and why. Readers may send a correction request through our contact page, including the article link and supporting evidence. Commercial relationships and sponsored material must be identified where applicable; they do not establish the truth of a claim.
